Overview

The Asian Chamber Foundation of Colorado’s leadership curriculum is designed to cultivate the next generation of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) leaders. Through a series of workshops, retreats, and community engagement opportunities, participants strengthen their cultural identity, leadership effectiveness, and civic impact while building a lifelong professional and personal network.

Participants

The program’s application pool will be reviewed with careful attention to parity in gender, broad AANHPI representation, and diversity of industries. We seek to bring together participants from across the private sector, public service, nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and entrepreneurial ventures, as well as from education, healthcare, and emerging industries. This intentional mix ensures that each cohort reflects the wide range of leadership experiences and perspectives within our communities, fostering richer dialogue, stronger networks, and greater collective impact.

Program Highlights:

  • Leadership & Identity: Develop a deeper understanding of personal leadership style, cultural heritage, and the unique assets of Asian leadership.

  • Communication & Influence: Gain skills in executive presence, negotiation, intercultural communication, and public speaking to lead with impact.

  • Community Engagement: Connect with Asian organizations, explore advocacy pathways, and design a community action plan to advance AANHPI representation.

  • Career Advancement: Expand networks, build credibility across diverse Asian communities, and learn strategies for career growth and board leadership.

  • Resilience & Belonging: Address barriers such as imposter syndrome, cultivate belonging in professional spaces, and integrate self-care practices to sustain long-term success.

The program spans nine sessions (March–November), blending retreats, workshops, cultural gatherings, and hands-on leadership projects. By graduation, participants emerge as empowered changemakers with the skills, networks, and vision to advance Asian unity and representation across sectors.
